SHILLING, David S. - Putnam

A Greencastle man has been arrested by a Deputy US Marshall and taken to Terre Haute for trial for refusing to be enumerated. His name is David S. Shilling. One of the enumerators was the prosecting witness. At Terre Haute he meekly consented to answer the questions and was released. This is the only case of refusal to answer questions reported in this district    --- transcribed by kbz
