Roachdale, Jan 25 - The fire department here will have to be equipped, with exhaust fans if there are any more fires like that in the barber shop of J.M. Stafford. The stove pipe became clogged with soot and filled the shop with gas and smoke. The fire department took the stove out on the sidewalk and extinguished the fire and then an electric fan was used to clear the atmosphere in the room. The roof on the home of Claude Malayar was slightly damaged by fire caused by sparks from the chimney.
