Peterseim - John - Big Four accident - Putnam

On last Sunday morning at Sunnyside, Mr. John Peterseim of this city section foreman on the Big Four, had his leg fractured midway between the ankle and knee, while assisting in clearing away a wrecked freight train.  Surgical attention was given to him immediately and he was brought home on Sunday afternoon – it is hoped he will speedily recover from all ill effects of the accident.  The wreck was caused by the dropping of a draw bar on one of the cars in the train. - thanks to S
