Oliver - John gets rich - Putnam

John Oliver, a former resident of Putnam County, who left here in ’67 and settled in Missouri was in the Banner Times office on Monday and stated that this paper had been the cause of making him a fortune. He also stated that a brother who did not take it, lost $400 at one time because of the fact that he was not a reader of the paper. Mr. Oliver goes back to Missouri today and he has his old friend sent to his address, Joplin.
