To whom it may concern:
I, Sarah F. Myers being of sound and disposing mind and residing in Greencastle, Indiana, do make and publish this my last will and testament. Item 1: I give and devise to my daughter I shall live with, at the time of my decease, all my household goods and wearing apparel. The same daughter to nurse, care for and to see that, I am buried in a respectable and creditable manner. I further direct that the expenses of my last sickness be paid out of my moneys that may (not legible) estate. That after the payment of such expenses then it is my request and I do direct that my several daughters towit: Eliza Ann Kean, Martha Ellen Fuqua, Cynthia Jane Reed and the heirs of my deceased son, Preston Noble Myers shall share equally in the moneys or other investments share and share alike towit:
Each of the living daughters, to have one fourth and the heirs of my deceased son to have the remaining one fourth divided equally between them, the said heirs of Preston Myers, deceased.
I do nominate and appoint Drew Alspaugh as the executor of this my last will and testament hereby authorizing him to compromise and just release and discharge the debts and claims due me, and to pay the legal claims that may be against my estate at my decease in accordance with the terms as above expressed.
In testimony hereby I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of January in the year 1893.
