McCARTY, Aaron - Out all Night - Putnam

Aaron McCarty father of Cornelius McCart three miles south of Cloverdale, left his son’s residence one night last week about 8 o’clock and did not return until the next morning.  Searching parties were out looking for him all night but were unable to find him.  He is 97 years of age and had on no coat or hat when he left.  The night was damp and chilly, but he returned in his usual health and has suffered no inconvenience since.  He said that he had been at a relative’s some 8 miles distant but it is the general impression that he did not go but a short distance.
