LANGSDALE, George - editorship
Source: Greencastle Banner-Times, 11 Dec 1896 p 2
George J. Langsdale, formerly editor of the Greencastle Banner and later the secretary of the Soldiers & Sailors Monument Commission has taken the editorship of the American Tribune at Indianapolis, a paper published in the interest of the veterans of the war, but which of late has been nothing but the organ of the Fitzgerald’s colony in Georgia. It is to be hoped that Mr. Langsdale will change the character of the paper to its original mission.
