Source: Greencastle Herald Putnam County 13 March 1913 p3
The condition of George Kadel, a DePauw student who is ill at the home of his parents in Terre haute is said to be critical. Mr. Kadel suffered an illness of pneumonia followed by an illness of typhoid fever. The dinner which Dean McCutchan is to give the members of the “Bells of Corneville” caste has been indefinitely postponed on account of Mr. Kadel’s condition.
