HARGRAVE - Reunion - Putnam

CT Hargrave held a family reunion at his home near this place on New Year’s Day. All the family, consisting of eight children were present with one exception. JM Hargrave, a son of Kansas was present, being his first visit home in 17 years. Five of the sons were measured and the average height was 6’2”. Mr. Hargrave came to this county in 1842 and has lived on the same farm since that time. - kbz
