Jesse Hadden
Source: Greencastle Star-Press, 8 June 1901
The preliminary examination of Jesse Hadden, charged with stealing cattle, was set for last Friday before Squire Ashton, but failed to show up. After his arrest he was admitted to bail, bond being furnished in the sum of $700, his mother and brother furnishing the bond.
After his release on bail Hadden deeded his property to his mother and brother, and set out for the rising or setting sun, 'tis not known which, and since then has not been heard of.
