This suit in Putnam Circuit Court ended last Saturday afternoon. A plain statement of the points in the case, as claimed by the plaintiffs is about as follows: Suit is brought by Bell Durham and Benjamin Durham, heirs of Benjamin Durham, deceased and Edward W. Lewis, administrator (with the will annexed) of the estate of Jacob Durham, deceased, vs. William H. Durham, James V. Durham, George S. Durham and Rachael G. Durham to set aside family settlement and administrator’s reports on account of fraud to which suit Rachael G. Durham answered, admitting the fraud and filing a cross-bill claiming the farm upon which she now resides as her separate property, she having only a life interest therein by the provisions of said family settlement. John F. and Lucinda Carver joined with the plaintiffs in asking to have the family settlement and administrator’s reports set aside for fraud on the ground that they had an interest in notes to the amount of $2,500 boot money given by one ZH Williams in a land trade between said Williams and Benj. Durham, deceased which notes were claimed to have been collected by WH Durham, administrator of the estate of Jacob Durham, deceased….
