Depauw Academy articles - Putnam

Twenty-three students of the Academy will receive their diplomas in the class of ’14 the last graduating class of DePauw Academy.  With one exception, the entire class will enter DePauw University next fall.  An effort will be made to have as many of the old students as possible return for the commencement this spring.  

The names of the graduating class are  as follows:  (John Bolin; Richard Denman; Walter Darling; Hugh Drummond; Jessie Gobin; Merle Huffman; Maurice Kendall; Jennie Priest; Hazel Rambo; Willard Singleton; Charles Schildt; GH Swartling; Mont Thornburg; Catherine Tillotson; Josephine Wade; Emory Wass; Mary Weik; John Simison; FO Timmons; Helen Walters; Nathaniel Huckleberry; Elmer Norris and Frank Law.  An attempt is being made to get Prof. RB von KleinSmid to deliver the commencement address.
