Tracy Cox wins fight

Tracy Cox, Greencastle, junior lightweight, scored a technical knockout over Midget Mike O’Dowd of Columbus, Ohio in the second round of the feature ten-round contest at Fort Harrison last night. Cox floored his rival twice in the first round and knocked him down again in the second for what appeared to be the full count. Before Grammel appeared somewhat confused however and allowed the Columbus mauler to struggle to his feet and resume hostilities. It was evident, however, that O’Dowd was “out on his feet” and Cox was awarded a technical knockout just as the gong sounded.
