Chadwick, Ed - bleeds 5 hours - Putnam

Mr. Edwin Chadwick, who is engaged at the Nail Works while at work last Monday began to bleed at the nose and though every effort was made, the bleeding continued for five or six hours and until he was completely exhausted from a loss of blood.  The operation of “plugging” was finally resorted to with success, the bleeding checked and Mr. Chadwick is recovering his lost strength.  – kbz
