CARRYINGTON, Martha - Putnam

"Russellville News" - Robert Goff and wife and Dora Hartman and Jennie Lydick of Crawfordsville attended the surprise dinner Sunday for Mrs. Martha Carrington of near Morten (sic). She was 55. There was about 70 present and all enjoyed a pleasant day. There were two long tables loaded down with an abundance of good things to eat prepared by her daughters. She received many presents and after dinner, Mr. Hazlet of Russellville came and took a picture of the crowd, and at a late hour they all departed for home, wishing her many such happy days   --- typed by kbz
