Calender, HC - injured spine - Putnam

H.C. Calender, Jr. is confined to his home in Northwood with a badly injured spine, as a result of an automobile accident in Terre Haute late Wednesday night.  He was brought to his home here Thursday night from the St. Anthony hospital in Terre Haute where he was taken following the accident. He was hurt when his automobile turned over when the front wheel caught in the street car track as he turned a corner. The car was badly damaged and Mr. Callender will be confined to his home several weeks, but it is believe that there are no permanent injuries to his spine. – thanks to Cindy A
