Burch, Albert - runs away - Putnam

Albert Burch, the 13-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Burch of West Kruzan Street who has been missing from his home here since Dec 27th has been located at Auburn, Ind and his father left this morning for Auburn to bring the boy back home.  Chief of Police Amos Fulk received a telegram late yesterday afternoon from the sheriff of DeKalb County at Auburn announcing that he was holding a boy who gave his name as Albert Burch of Brazil and asked for instruction as what to do with him.  Mr. Burch wired the sheriff to hold the boy until he arrived.  While no other details have been learned it is believed the boy was enticed to leave by some stranger with an automobile – Brazil Times
