ALLEE - Putnam

The case in which Joseph Allee, a farmer who resided east of town is charged with disposing of mortgaged property which was set for trial in the Putnam Circuit court next Saturday probably will be continued.  Judge Hughes, this morning received a letter stating that Mr. Allee who is visiting a sister in Indianapolis is confined to his bed by illness.  The charge against him was filed by Alonzo Cook who had a mortgage on some live stock which was owned by Mr. Allee but which, Mr. Cook alleges was sold by Mr. Allee. ~~~transcribed by kbz
