Albright Callis-Connerly

Lafe Connerly lodged Granville Albright in jail last Friday. Albright was arrested by Mr. Connerly near Fontanet the night before, being hunted down for stealing clothing and other articles from Overton Callis on the 4th of July. While Mr. Callis and family were at the Rosedale celebration the theft was committed. Armed with search warrants, Connerly went to Fontanet and succeeded in capturing Albright while that worthy was returning with another batch of stolen goods. Albright admits robbing the postoffice at Carpentersville and belongs to a gang of pilferers near Fontanet – Rockville Tribune
