The Relation of Poverty to Sickness was the subject of a very interested address of Prof. Walter G. Beach of the University of Washington at the health exhibit now on at the Bon Marche yesterday afternoon.  He told how the manner living of many in poor circumstances had so much to do with their general health and how sickness can be reduced by greater care if sanitation.  Dr. BF WEST gave an interesting talk on Bacteria Life.  Both addresses were heard by a large crowd who took a great interest in what each speaker said.  The addresses are daily at 2:30 but the exhibit is open all day.   NOTE Dr. West was born in Montgomery County.    --- transcribed by  kbz
