"L:inden news" -- Snow falls every night almost as much as it did in the winterof 1851 and '52 as some of the old people will recall that winter for it was sleighing all winter and laved on until in March. They had all the sleighing they wanted for once. It is said that is one of the cold winters and Prof. Hicks before told the kind of winter we would have.
The jingle of the sleigh bells is very common since the snow has come. But the poor horses have to go ono difference how tired they are.
A 12" snow this 8th day of January 1893, on the level where it did not drift.
Your city was full of sleigh riders and pleasure seekers on last Saturday. The holidays do not seem to be over yet.
