Vandalia RR

The Waveland people are rejoicing and with great
reason. The old Vandalia RR people are
building a new depot for the town. For
many years an old shack of a building was used as a depot and it was a disgrace
to the town. Every citizen of the place was glad when the old thing burned a
few years ago for they supposed they would get a new building but an old box
car was pressed into service and has been doing duty ever since. The new
building will be neat, attractive and will afford ample room both for freight
and for waiting passengers – Ladoga Leader
