Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Sering and daughter, Naomi, 1444 Thirteenth Street expect to leave Sunday for a two week vacation trip. They will go as far as Peoria by motor and from there will go to Crawfordsville, Ind to visit Mr. Sering’s mother. They will also visit relatives in Terre Haute, Chicago and other cities. They expect to be away two weeks. Friends of Mr. Sering will be sorry to learn that he strained a ligament in his right leg Wednesday while umpiring a game of baseball between Discpatch employees and the staff of People’s Bank. The injury is extremely paintful and is confiding him to his home. His doctor believes he will be able to start on Sunday, however.
