Ristine of Crawfordsille, Ind are sojourning here is delighted with Ft Myers which he and his relatives are visiting for the first time. The engagement of Miss Mary Cookerly and Mrs. Albert Welles Ristine of North Holston, VA which was announced yesterday will be read with much interest by the many friends of the contracting parties. Miss Cookerly is one of the most popular young ladies in the younger scoeity circles of the city and possesses a charming personality. She is a graduate from West HS and for several years has been on the Des Moines Daily Capital. Mr. Ristine is the son of Dr. Harley Ristine of Fort Dodge. He is a graduate of Harvard and for several years was coach of the Iowa State College at Ames. He is engaged in mining, being VP of the Southern Gypsum Company at North Holston, VA. The wedding will take place in the spring. - kbz
