Reeder Fire - 1879

A midnight fire on last Tuesday night destroyed the shed and stable on the premises occupied by Mrs. Reeder, a widow living est of the college. A horse and several chickens were roasted in the flames. The loss of the horse is keenly felt by the family, being their main support. Since they are in reduced circumstances we hope to see a generous neighborhood replace the loss.
