Quinley - appointed rural Ladoga carrier

Ladoga, Ind Jan 6 – Wallace Quinley, a well known school teacher of this place, has been appointed rural free delivery carrier to succeed Fred Long on route one out of this place. Along with a number of applicants for the place, Mr. Quinley took the civil service examination some weeks ago. He received the highest grade and was appointed. He is a Democrat and received his appointment under a Republican administration. P. Logan Ronk of Ladoga, has been chosen as Mr. Quinley’s substitute. The new carrier will continue his teaching until Thursday Jan 16 before taking up his duties.
