Patent - Miller - Brown 1898

Source: Weekly Argus News Dec 17, 1898 p 2

Albert S. Miller and Geo. B. Brown patentees of a new driving mechanism for chainless wheels, received word from their attorneys at Washington today to the effect that their model has been duly examined and their application for a patent granted.  They will place it upon the market at once and the contrivance, a practical as well as a very ingenious one will be seen in operation during the coming season. It should and doubtless will yield them handsome returns.
