New Richmond Orchestra

Source: Unknown paper – unknown year

The New Richmond orchestra entertained at a banquet Tuesday evening t the home of Mr. and Mrs. WP Coffman, their guest of honor being one of their members, Harry F. Teague who is soon moving to North Vernon to reside. The supper was served in two courses. Roy Hannalt acted as toastmaster and the banquet table talks for the most part were to pay due credit to Mr. Teague in his ceaseless efforts at a time hard work was most needed to make the orchestra a success. The decorations were confined to St. Patrick's Day color, the banquet favors being red and white carnations. It was a very pleasant evening for the orchestra members. Those present were Messrs. Harry Teague, Roy Hanawalt, Glenn Harriman, Will Flaugher, Sam Livingston, John Alexander, Lee Mason, Misses Lonie Livingston and Mae Coffman. Mrs. John Alexander being the only person present outside of the orchestra. On Mr. Teague's severance from the orchestra, Mr. HA Kesler will assume the leadership, while Miss Ruth Hunt succeeds Miss Coffman as the orchestra pianist. The orchestra has bright prospects for the coming year!
