Frank Davidson who is a cavalryman in the US Army left yesterday to join his regiment at Huntsville, Ala. He informed us that he expected his regiment to be transferred to Cuba before long and he promised to write us some interesting letters for publication when he got located. He gave us some exhibitions on the street while enjoying his furlough here of the horsemanship practice of army drill by mounting the horse while running alongside of it. And one leap he was thrown and fell under the horse and dragged but came out uninjured. ---kbz
