The annual reunion of the Mahoy family was held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Mahoy who reside on the old homestead, five and one-half miles east of the Potato Creek Church. Since the reunion last year, Mrs. Alice (Mahoy) Shill has passed on. The day which passed too quickly sent all to their respective home to meet again in 1931 with Mr. and Mrs. WH Gladden of Stockwell on the third Sunday in August.  Those present included Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mahoy and Mr. and Mrs. OG Mahoy and family of Lafayette; Mr. and Mrs. WH Gladden and Mr. and Mrs. Merle Skinner and family of Stockwell; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gray; Mrs. Iva Boots and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. George Mahoy and son Haven; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Vannice and children; Mr. and Mrs. John Royer and family; Mr. and Mrs. Willard Mahoy and family; Mr. and Mrs. MF Hulvey and family; Mr. and Mrs. Will Smith; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hulvey; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cook and children and Mr. BF Shill of near Darlington; the Misses Ruth and Ruby Baer of Clarks Hill; Mary Jane Patterson; Marguerite Horn and Zola Royer of Darlington were guests.
