Hurley - John buys Sidener homestead

“Flat Rock” article - John Hurley, a brother of William Hurley, has arrived from Kimball County, Neb and has rented the old Sidener homestead of Wm. Watson. He owned a large body of land in the west and ran an extensive stock ranch but the two past severe winters he lost several hundred head of cattle and sheep and so lost heart and came back east. They are a family of musicians and will be an addition to the neighborhood. We bespeak for them a Hoosier welcome.
