Hall - Elias - appoitned EJ Sutton as his guard - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Although he employed an attorney to present his objections to the appointment of a guardian, Elias W. Hall was yesterday made the ward of EJ Sutton.  Four children, Grace Thompson, Bertha Landry, Era Livermore and Raymond Hall had petitioned for the guardianship proceedings.  Mr. Hall is 77 years old and almost blind.  He is a veteran of the Civil War and his pension was recently increased to $100 a month.  He is also to receive $800 back pension.
