Fowler - lawsuit over death

Mrs. Fowler, widow of Robert Fowler
killed about 18 months ago at Walnut Fork, a mile northeast of town by the
falling down of a bridge over which an engine was going at the time has entered
suit for $10,000 and which has been under hearing for the second time at the
present term of circuit court. Messrs.
Craine & Anderson are the attorneys for the plaintiff while Messers. Thomas
A. Whittington and attorney Strause of Rockville, are looking aft the interest
of the railroad. The jury returned a
verdict Thursday night awarding to the plaintiff a verdict of $5,000.
