Crawfordsville’s Community House is winning fame and attention. According to the Crawfordsville Journal welfare workers from other cities are visiting Crawfordsville to get suggestions and ideas for adapting the scheme to their own cities. Lafayette and Muncie have sent investigators. An expert from Illinois is to inspect the house and study its management. Already the university of Ill has sent representatives to Crawfordsville to look into the Community House project. This distinctively Crawfordsville institution is likely to be initiated in many places in the near future. Imitation is the sincerest indorsement.
