The Crawfordsville News Review is going after dives and places of disrepute in Crawfordsville with a hot poker. The Review ought not do this, for it don’t speak well for the town although it is generally known that Crawfordsville has some very immoral places without the newspapers of the place speaking of them and still it don’t seem to hurt the city in the least in a business sense. The Review says, “these hell-holes would disgrace the lower corner of perdition and the Waynetown Despatch man warns the Review editor that he is putting himself in a way to get a wallipin – like he got and adds that “The Review must not forget that the devil has horns, teeth and toe nails and that he will hook, scratch and bite when poked at with “morality’s club” ---kbz
