The committee from McPherson Post, G. A. R., is making arrangements for placing the cannons secured from the government in the court house yard. One of the guns will be placed in the northwest corner of the lot on a foundation of concrete, but it has not yet been decided just where to place the other. They will have tablets inserted in the masonry near them and will be formerly dedicated on
Decoration Day with appropriate services. - kz
