Waynetown, Oct 27 – For the fifth consecutive year, Vernice Keller, Waynetown won the Montgomery County corn husking contest, held yesterday on the Frank Vaughn farm, southeast of here. He set a new county record, husking 33 bushels and 45 pounds in 80 minutes. Second place went to Harvey Long, Ladoga; third, Arthur Cooksey, Darlington; four, Orville Hoss, New Market; fifth, Ardra Sadler, Waynetown.
