“Alamo” – The oldest living settler in Montgomery County is Patrick Ham, who resides here. He is 87 years old and settled in Ripley Township in 122. He has never been out of the state of Indiana and has never ridden on the cars. We doubt if there is any town in the state the size of Alamo that has so many aged people in its population as this place.
