Andrew Plunkett Sr., who was hurt in an accident with a team of horses last Thursday, is in a serious condition and is suffering severely. Mr. Plunkett was talking with a neighbor near his home in Morningside and had left his team of horses, hitched to a hay rigging, standing untied. The team started up and Mr. Plunkett in trying to stop them was caught between a gate post and the wagon and squeezed till for a time it was feared that he could not recover. His chest was caved in a frightful manner and three ribs were broken loose from his spine. Mr. Plunkett is 66 years old and this in a measure militates his speedy recovery, but with good nursing his friends hope to see him recover.
