David Jones has been awarded the contract for the building of the new First Presbyterian Church. He gest $11,000 for the work and the old church edifice or aobut $12,000. He will commence to tear down and remove the old building next week.

The ladies of the First Presbyterian Church will give a supper at the church on Friday evening to which they invite all to attend, as this will be the last social in the old church building. Supper will be served from 5 til 9 o'clock. Admission, 25 cents. No extras.

These articles were published in the Crawfordsville Journal on 1924-03-21 for the one hundredth anniversary of the founding of Montgomery County. Also included on the back of the photo is a copy of the article about the centennial of the Presbyterian Church in Crawfordsville (it is too long to be placed here).
