Rev. Chelsea J. Stockwell will be the
guest speaker in two weeks of meetings being conducted nightly except Saturday
at 7:30 o’clock November 17 through December 1 at the First Baptist Church.
Rev. Stockwell, who is well known for his hymn compositions and evangelistic
song leading has been in the ministry for more than 20 years. He has been associated in the past as song
leader for some of the most successful evangelists across the country. Rev.
Stockwell and his family are residents of Waveland, Indiana and are in
fellowship with the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches. In two
weeks of meetings which he conducted here two years ago, there were many decisions
and additions to the church membership. The church has planned a good music
program for every service. The members will include solos, duets, trios and a
newly formed instrumental ensemble. The public is invited to all services, the
pastor said today.
