Dunbar - Caroline Kious

A very pleasant surprise was given in honor of Mrs. Caroline Dunbar Sept 16th it being her 68th birthday at her home near White Church. The surprise was planned to be a success as she had been staying with her daughter, Mrs. Lottie Saidla, of Gravelly Run. On the arrival home at the noon hour she found the many friends and relatives there to welcome her to partake of the abundant supplies that can only be prepared for such days. The mother was given a beautiful rocker by her three children. The friends all left at a late hour feeling as if the day had been well spent and wishing the mother many more such happy birthdays.
