A Rockville special says: “Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Daniels have celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. They settled here in 1861. Mr. Daniels is a bridge builder, and nearly all of the wooden bridges in this and adjoining counties testify to his skill and thoroughness. Some of these bridges are forty years old and still as good as ever. Recently he completed a bridge over Big Raccoon Creek on the Montgomery and Putnam line. He is seventy five years old and his wife is five years his junior. Their second son, Edward Daniels, was recently appointed master-in-chancery, succeeding the late W. P. Fishback, at Indianapolis. -s
