EPH ZACHERY arrested

Joe Binford, a lumber man had Eph Zachery of Smartsburg arrested for obtaining building material under false pretenses and invoked the law to punish Eph for Joe’s stupidity in letting Eph have credit. There was a trial on Wednesday and glorious vindication for Eph in his acquittal. Joseph Binford mourns and believes the equation in law does not equate. Alas, Joseph!
ZIEGLER - Released

Gov. Matthews yesterday paroled young Zeigler, of Shelbyville, a brother of Otto Zeigler of this city. Zeigler was sent up two years ago for shooting his wife. The purpose was to secure his release before his mother’s death but she died one day too soon.
