State of Indiana, Montgomery County Probate Court, Febraury Term 1834 Jonathan W. Powers, administrator of the estate of John Oiler, dec'd vs. The heirs and deviasees of said estation - petition to sell Real Estate Comes with Court said administrator and files his petition suggestion the insufficience of the person property of said estate to pay the debts outstanding and prays for this sale of certain real estate to wit: Lot No. 2 in the town of Crawfordsville; and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court first the heirs of said dec'd are non-residents: it is ordered that notice be given by publication in the Crawfordsville Record, three weeks successively of the pendency of the petition and that the said heirs and devisees be and appear here on the first day of the next term of this Court and show cause, if any they have, why said real estate should not be sold and made assets for the discharge of the debts aforesaid and cause continued.
