Hillsboro, Aug 24 - Mrs. Cora Lowe recieved word from her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Leslie Lowe of Gary stating she received a message from the War Department on Wednesday morning that her husband, First Lt. Leslie E. Lowe, who was previously reported missing in action in France on July 7 is a German prisoner. In a recent letter from another son, Pvt George Lowe, a patient in an English hospital after having been woundedin action in France July 11 stated they had changed the cast on his leg and he had been able to sit up for awhile. Mrs. Lowe also received a telegram from him on Aug 19 for her birthday anniversary on the following day.
