ORDIN M. COFFING
Veedersburg, Ind. - Ordin M.
Coffing, 69, of Veedersburg Route 4, died at 2:15 a.m.
Thursday (June 14, 1973) at the Williamsport
Community Hospital. He had been a patient two
days and had been ill four months. Born
March 6,
1904, in Fountain County, he was
the son of Frederich A. and Nannie Houts Coffing. He married Emily Logee Sept. 7, 1933,
who survives. He had
formerly resided in Williamsport for 35
years and had been a resident of Veedersburg and Punta
Gorda; Fla.,
for the past three years. He
attended school at Rob Roy and Attica. Mr. Coffing was a parts man at
International Harvester Co. in Williamsport for
several years and was later a bulk truck driver for the
Farm Bureau at Williamsport. He was a member of the Masonic
Lodge and Rocky Dale Chapter Order of Eastern Star of
which he was past patron, both of Williamsport. Other survivors include
two sons, Ronald of Attica and Terry of Veedersburg Route
4; his father and stepmother Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Coffing
of Attica; a sister,
Mrs. Freda Zukowski of Alvin, Ill.;
a half brother, Fred L. Coffing of Attica; and eight
grandchildren. Services will
be at 2 p.m.
Saturday at the Dale Maus Funeral Home in Attica, with burial in Osborne
Prairie Cemetery near
Stone Bluff. Friends will be
received after 6
p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
