| Each generation seems to rediscover Frances Slocum and her romantic tale of kidnap and survival. The latest is "LITTLE BEAR WOMAN-THE STORY OF FRANCES SLOCUM AS TOLD BY HER 5th GREAT GRANDSON", 2008 by Micheal L. Thompson. His latest endeavor is chock full of information from many different sources on her life. He has an excellent bibliography on source materials used and that are available.
