Chippewa High School was begun in l9l4. It was located on Indiana 15 about two miles north of Wabash. It was consolidated with Linlawn High School in l952. The following records were taken from the Metropolitan School District files and from the l952 Linlawn yearbook Treasure. The Chippewa Alumni Directory updated in 1984 by Berniece Hayden and Louise Maggart was also used.
