TREATY CEMETERY

This cemetery is named for Treaty Creek, which, in turn was named for the Indian treaty signed in 1826 at the junction of Treaty Creek with the Wabash River. The creek runs along the north side of the cemetery a short distance from the intersection of county roads 700S & 100E just southeast of Treaty on Indiana Highway 15.
